Because Stiles really didn't, no matter how much Scott wanted it to happen. Or needed it to happen in this case, because apparently trying to teach a girl who had spent her formative years as a coyote to be more human was difficult, who knew?

"I know," Scott said. "But this is important. Teaching her how to control her abilities I can do. Teaching her that it's not okay to kill small woodland animals and eating them raw? I'm having a tougher time with."

"Ew." Stiles wrinkled up his nose at the thought even though Scott couldn't see his disgust over the phone. "What makes you think she'd listen to me?"

"She trusts you for some reason, dude." Scott said. "I think that time at Eichen House together helped."

"Right, that whole day and a half we spent together," Stiles said, rolling his eyes. Though he did feel bad Malia was having difficulty with everything. It was their fault she was human again. "Look, okay, I'll figure something out. But I can't spend my whole summer making trips to Beacon Hills all the time. Shit's expensive."

And he was worried enough about his financial situation at the moment.

"I get it, do what you can," Scott said. "Malia will really appreciate it. Deep down."

Because, yeah, she probably wouldn't show that she was thankful.

"Sure she will," Stiles said. "I'll talk to you later, Scott."

Shh it was completely healthy to have sex after a screaming match that was only vaguely resolved.

"Only a little," Derek admitted, biting Stiles' neck possessively. Higher than normal this time.

Because clearly that would keep Stiles safe from harm in the BH.

Well if Malia did follow the rules of the animal kingdom she might be put off by the hickeys?

Stiles laughed a little, tilting his head to give Derek more room. Then he let out a lame attempt at a little howl.

Derek snickered against Stiles throat, trying and failing to get himself under control. "You wild animal."

"Yeah, well, you're rubbing off on me," Stiles said, sliding his hands up to bury them in Derek's hair.

"Not yet..."

Stiles snorted, never going to be used to Derek making innuendo like that. "Were you planning to?"

Derek was secretly a giant nerd. No one yet know this.

"What would you like?"

"Well I definitely like being in this position." In a small part due to the fact that Derek was definitely in charge and Stiles knew he wasn't forcing him into anything.

One day he might need to address this.

It would come up eventually. Maybe. When Derek started being antsy about not being screwed into the mattress.

"You just like being picked up." Because it was hot, Derek.

"I think you like picking me up." He did not start this, Derek!

"Only a little," Derek replied, adjusting his grip before going to pin him against the wall for an easier time doing this.

Stiles put most of his weight against the wall when he felt his back against it even though he was sure he probably weighed nothing to Derek. "This is pretty hot. Though clothes removal might be a problem unless we moved."

"How attached to your jeans are you?"

Derek, no.

"Uh. Not very?" His curiosity was getting to the better of him and it's not like he was wearing his sacred maroon pants today. For once.

Oh, like Derek would do anything to those pants. They were a gift from the gods.

Derek grinned at him, letting his claws grow. "Hold still."

"You look way too excited about this." Because it's not like Stiles' arousal ramped up at the thought of Derek clawing his claws off, no sir.

"Shhh," Derek replied. He placed his nose against Stiles' throat, inhaling deeply as those claws carefully sliced through the waistband of the pants and down Stiles' thighs.

It's just ventilation!

"Oh my god." That was ridiculously hot. "Be honest, how long have you been waiting to do this?"

"Not... long."

So, so long.

"You're such a liar," Stiles said before leaning in to kiss Derek.

Derek kissed him back, leaning forward to pin Stiles firmly against the wall so he could rip at the fabric until those poor, poor jeans were reduced to scraps of fabric on the floor.

Stiles tightened his legs around Derek, grinding up against him as best he could. He probably shouldn't have found somebody ripping his clothes off to be this hot but, well...he was strange.

They were both very strange.

Once that was accomplished, Derek was slipping his hands back down to Stiles' ass, squeezing him through the thin fabric of his boxers. "Tell me you have lube in here."

He hadn't thought about storing any there!

"Yeah, bedside table." He may have stored it there for just this occasion. And there may have stashed bottle in other places in the house as well.

Always be prepared.

"Might have to put me down to get it though."
