Beacon Hills High School and the Vet's Office | Day
Stiles |
His dad calling him back home for some supernatural related thing was a new event Stiles was going to have to get used to. Apparently the Malia!Coyote had broke into the school and almost ate Kira's face off or something. The locker room was a mess when Stiles got there, though Stiles later found out that had been Scott's doing. Typical. |
Sheriff Stilinski |
Sheriff Stilinski still did not understand the whole "Fandom moves way faster than Beacon Hills" thing but he wasn't going to complain about his son showing up from Maryland like an hour after he called him. "Couple of students said they saw it running across the field and back into the woods. Thank god nobody got hurt." |
Stiles |
"What happens if she does hurt someone?" Please say capture her and gently release her out into a flowery field. |
Sheriff Stilinski |
Keep dreaming, Stiles. "Most likely they'll have to put her down." |
Stiles |
"Put her down. Dad, try not to forget there's a girl in there--one you'd be killing," Stiles said. "Come on, you aren't back to not believing, are you?" |
Sheriff Stilinski |
"You know what, I believe there are a lot of things I don't understand yet, but that doesn't mean that everything and anything is suddenly possible." Despite that, he was looking a little more sympathetic. "Now are you 100% sure that this is a girl and not an animal?" |
Stiles |
"Yes. Because Scott's sure." Scott McCall was right about everything! Everything! Well. At least everything about his supernatural hunches. Knew nothing about Space Battles. |
Sheriff Stilinski |
"Alright, let's get this figured out," he said, nodding his head to the back of the locker room where everything happened. "Come on." |
Stiles |
Stiles spotted Scott and headed over to him, because that seemed like the better option than hanging around a distressed looking Kira. A quick skim around the room made Stiles realize that a familiar looking backpack was torn up in the corner. "Scott, I think I know what she was looking for." Stiles went for the bag and pulled out the ragged baby doll they found at the accident site. |
Scott |
"You took the doll from the car?" Scott asked, looking at Stiles like he was a complete psycho. |
Stiles |
"Yeah, I thought you could use it for her scent." That was completely normal! |
Mr. Tate |
"Where did you get that?" Mr. Tate had made his way into the school as soon as he heard about the coyote attack. Hooray for police scanners! |
Sheriff Stilinski |
And here came Sheriff Stilinski because, hey, nobody grabbed things out of his son's hands and got away with it. "Mr. Tate, I don't know how you heard about this, if you've got your own police scanner or what, but you can't be here." He moved to push Tate gently towards the exit but stopped when he felt a lump underneath his jacket. He pulled the cloth away to find a gun. |
Mr. Tate |
Tate at least had the decency to look ashamed. "I have a permit." |
Sheriff Stilinski |
"California schools are gun-free zones, permit or no permit," Sheriff Stilinski said. "You need to leave, Mr. Tate. Now." |
Scott |
"We need to find Malia before he does," Scott said to Stiles once Tate had left. "And somehow turn her back into a girl." Easier said than done. |
Deaton |
"This is a tranquilizer for horses," Deaton said, placing several glass vials on the table. "For a werecoyote expect it to work in seconds. I only have three so whoever's shooting needs to be a damn good shot." |
Scott |
"Allison's a perfect shot," Scott said. |
Isaac |
"She used to be." Look, he was the realistic sort, okay? |
Scott |
Scott gave Isaac a look. "She can do it." |
Isaac |
"If we manage to find the thing." |
Stiles |
"Okay, what's the point of him?" Stiles snapped. Okay he had been the one that dragged Isaac along but Scott insisted! "Seriously, what is his purpose aside from the persistent negativity and the scarf. What's up with the scarf anyway, it is 65 degrees out." |
Isaac |
Oh, the bitchface you got, Stiles. "Look maybe I'm asking the question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into a girl when she hasn't be a girl for eight years?" |
Scott |
Scott's eyes lit up when he realized he had an answer to their problem. "I can do it." |
Stiles |
"You can?" How dare you hold out on him, McCall. |
Scott |
"Remember the night Peter trapped us in the school? In the gym he made me turn just by using his voice," Scott said. "Deucalion did the same thing in the distillery." |
Deaton |
"This is a werecoyote, Scott. Who knows if it'll even work if you can find someone to teach you." |
Stiles |
"That's why you were trying to contact Derek." He had been wondering about that. |
Scott |
"I can try it on my own." In theory. Scott sighed. "But right now I'm too scared to even change into just a werewolf." |
Stiles |
"You need a real alpha." That got the hurt reaction from Scott that Stiles expected it to. "You know what I mean, an alpha who can do alpha things. You know, an alpha that can get it going, an alpha that can get it..." Um. |
Isaac |
Don't say it, don't say it, don't say it... "Up?" He said it. |
Scott |
Scott sighed. "Great. I'm an alpha with performance issues." |
Deaton |
"Is there anybody else that could help?" Deaton asked. |
Isaac |
"I wouldn't trust Peter." With anything in life. |
Stiles |
"Maybe the twins?" Stiles suggested. |
Deaton |
Deaton shook his head. "They're not alphas anymore. After what Jennifer did it broke that part of them." |
Scott |
"They might still know how to do it," Scott said. "But nobody's seen them in weeks." |
Stiles |
"Not entirely true," Stiles said. Sorry, Lydia, was he supposed to keep that a secret? "But we can get Derek." A Derek, anyway. |
