A Car Somewhere In The South | Friday Evening

Visiting college campuses had seemed like a good idea at first. Bringing Derek along for the ride seemed like an even better one. However Stiles was greatly beginning to regret both decisions after a few hours in a car that was not his beloved jeep and after realizing that the South was really boring. Really, really boring.

"We should have just taken a portal."

"Okay." Sleep was never boring, especially now. "When we finally stop could you, uh, make sure the hotel isn't haunted?"

Sounded like a weird request but he was completely serious.

Look, Derek, there were certain consequences and responsibilities when it came to crushing on the town nutjob.

"Okay, good," Stiles said, still kind of concerned with Derek's new non-reactions to this sort of stuff. "Glad we've got that covered."
