Even after 20 years, some things didn't change. Stiles still refused to use his first name, he still talked in his sleep and he still liked to sleep cuddled up next to Derek. Only now he didn't have to hide the fact that he enjoyed it. Even if he did complain about Derek being a cuddler for old time's sake sometimes.

"Scratchy," Stiles mumbled, nowhere near fully awake when he said it. Being married to a living spacer heater meant Stiles actually slept with his shirt off more often than not which gave Derek more area to massacre Stiles with stubble burn. It made Stiles look like he had some weird rash most of the time.

[For the now husband and the other person in the house! And anybody else that wants to knock on the door I guess]

Derek just rolled his eyes. The paused as he took in the surroundings. And the dog eyeing them both from it's little steps onto the bed.

"...did we come back to Fandom in time for something weird?"

Hey there, Puppy Joe. Being alive still and all.

"What?" Stiles perked his head up showing that, yes, all that conditioner was needed because his fluffy bedhead was the best. "Are we dead?"

They were in heaven and Puppy Joe had come to greet them!

That earned him the grumpiest sigh. Because some things never changed. "We're not dead," Derek replied, leaving the 'you moron' part unsaid but obvious from his tone.

"Oh. Okay." Since they weren't dead Stiles thought it was perfectly acceptable to faceplant back on the bed. "You solve this mystery for once. I'm tired. And hungry."

Derek wasn't allowed to solve mysteries anymore.

He was, however, allowed to roll his eyes in a dramatic fashion and toss his share of the blanket over onto Stiles as he got out of bed. "I'm making breakfast. If you're not down by the time I'm done cooking, I'm eating it all myself."

"You're my favorite husband." You were still so whipped, Derek.

Shhhh. He wasn't whipped. Honest.

JUST BECAUSE HE WOULD MAKE STILES' COFFEE THE WAY HE LIKED IT DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING.

Derek rolled his eyes again, pausing just once for the dog to bound down after him. Oh god, it was so adorable. "Put a shirt on when you come down. Mike's around here somewhere."

"I wonder if that hoodie you stole from me forever ago is still around here," Stiles said. "You know, the one you used to smell like a creepy weirdo whenever I went back to Beacon Hills."

"I didn't do that." Yes he did. All the time. "You're the one taking my clothes all the time."

"Well they look better on me than they ever did on you." Sure, lets go with that.

[justlurkinghere]

"They really don't." Because Derek finally started wearing jeans that didn't cut off circulation.

"Breakfast." Be a good househusband, Derek.

[justlurkinghere]

"Shirt," Derek called back, making his way down to start that. He was going to make freakin' pancakes to deal with this.

And possibly feed one to Puppy Joe.

"Don't forget coffee!" He'd get out of bed eventually. And pull on a shirt that would likely now be too tight. Stupid younger Stiles and his scrawny teenage body.
