"I might punish you by showering by myself for once." That would not happen.

"I might," he lied, pulling pancake out of his hair.

Derek hummed, licking some of the mashed pancake off his fingers. "If you really want to shower alone, I'll just have to let you."

Stiles hummed. "Will I come out of the shower to a nice surprise if I do go alone?"

Yes. Yes, he would. "Like a teddy bear and chocolates?"

"Yes, exactly like that," he said with a nod. "Or whatever other Valentine's idea you can think of."

"I'll see what I can do," Derek replied, giving him a once over. "Might want to get clean."

For the chocolates and teddy bears.

"I'll take that under advisement," Stiles said, giving Derek a quick (and syrupy) kiss before heading upstairs. They made such a mess.

Which meant Derek was going to have to rush cleaning the kitchen by just putting dishes in the sink like a heathen if he wanted to get ready before Stiles was done with his shower.

And all of this wasn't even flower enhanced. Much.

Stiles was rushing to get his shower done, though he was slowed by getting the syrup out of his hair. It was almost worse than--well it was worse than other stuff that Derek had put in his hair before.

If the flowers did anything it made him get a little impatient and he might've been touching himself more than usual.

Hey, anything other than syrup that Derek got in his hair was with enthusiastic consent.

And Derek would blame any over-eagerness on his part as he got ready on the fact that he could smell and hear Stiles even over the muffling of the shower. All Stiles' fault, yep.

Okay, maybe just a little on the fact that he got something new and as red as his eyes to wear for the day.

Stiles was out of the shower a few minutes later, cleaning himself thoroughly as Derek suggested. He just decided to dry himself off with a towel and forgo clothes because it's not like he needed them.

It was one of the joys of home ownership. Being able to walk around naked in your house.

Derek was sprawled out on his stomach on the bed, trying to decide between handcuffs and a completely unnecessary cock ring. But he didn't know that part of it yet.

"I don't know if I count as a bear until I'm older or not," he called once he heard Stiles getting close.

"I think you do," Stiles said, leaning against the doorway to enjoy the view. "Also you're so cuddly."

"I picked up chocolate flavored lube, but I have my reservations about it," Derek added, pushing himself up onto his elbows for a better angle to show off to Stiles.

Stiles laughed, moving closer to get up on the bed. "Didn't try it beforehand?"

"I was waiting for my fiancé." Oh, they were back on that because of the new ring.

Stiles smiled at the wording, running his hands down Derek's back. "You look really good."

Understatement.

"You like the color?" Derek asked, closing his eyes and humming at the touch. He was trying and failing not to arch up against Stiles' hand.

"I love it," he said, sliding his fingers over the fabric. "Red's my favorite--and I know that makes me a cliche."

"Only a little." A lot. "Should I have picked up a cape with a hood on it?"

"We probably still have my Red Riding Hood cape somewhere," Stiles murmured. "Turn over for me."

"I can always wear it if you want to be the big, bad wolf," Derek replied, rolling onto his back.

"I wouldn't want to insult you with my imitation," he said, straddling Derek's hips. "My howl isn't what it could be."
