If Stiles was truly honest with himself he would be able to admit that buying a house would soon lead to him and Derek living there full time together no matter how much Derek insisted it wouldn't turn out like that. Not that Stiles was complaining. In fact he looked at their codependency with complete fondness. It was nice knowing he'd have someone to come home to. Even if he wasn't getting his homework done as quickly as he used to.

He was trying to fix that right now, taking up one of the spare bedrooms as a sort of office. He was finishing up some reading for his Juvenile Deliquency course and then had to look into getting an internship this summer. It was all very boring.

"Enjoying your new home?" he asked.

"Not bad," Derek joked like he hadn't been living most of this time. "A little drafty."

"Whose fault is that?" he asked.

"Previous tenant. Hear they were a college student."

[robinonadderall]

"College students are responsible for drafts now?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Delinquent ones."

[robinonadderall]

Stiles rolled his eyes and threw his textbook at Derek. Take that.

Yeah, well. Werewolf powers meant he caught it. Because he was an insufferable little ass sometimes. A lot of the time.

"These cost money, Stiles."

[robinonadderall]

"Well you didn't pay for them." He did. Barely. And he'll get like ten cents back for them.

If he was lucky.

Derek rolled his eyes, putting the book back on Stiles' desk. "The offer still stands."

"I know," he said. "But I can handle it. They aren't that much."

Especially now that room and board was taken off the bill. Derek thought he was being sneaky with that.

"You have more reading to do?"

Stiles shrugged. "Nothing that needs to be taken care of immediately. It's Saturday."

Derek nodded in understanding. "Jack mentioned coming by here for the next full moon."

"So we should buy some stuff for the basement?" he asked.

[justlurkinghere]

"Hoping it'll just be a dog bed." Heh. "But yes. Some chains to be safe."

[robinonadderall]

"People are definitely going to think we have a sex dungeon."

[justlurkinghere]

"Or a really bad dog." Not once they saw Puppy Joe.

"I prefer sex dungeon," Stiles said, flopping back against the bed.

Derek sighed, dropping down next to him. It was only a guest bed, so it wasn't that big, but it fit them. Mostly.

"You can tell people you're the one with the whip."

"Can I?" he said, snuggling close to Derek. "It won't insult your masculinity?"

[justlurkinghere]

"If anything was going to insult my masculinity, it would have been the panties," Derek assured him.

"I like the panties."

[justlurkinghere]

Derek grinned at that, leaning over for a kiss. "So no insulting of masculinity here."

Nope, none of that. Stiles kissed Derek back, pushing at his shoulders to get him on his back.
