Stiles really regretted not getting a job this summer. The whole "freedom to do whatever I want" thing got boring a few weeks after his classes ended. He didn't want to spend forever in Fandom and Scott had that job thing going on so Stiles made do with watching daytime television and making copious amounts of ramen.

It was mindnumbingly boring.

He wondered if Derek got the hint that he was bored after texting him constantly for the last week or so.

"It's the bed. It's comfortable."

Yep. That was it.

"You bought it so obviously you should like it," Stiles said. "I like it too. Lonely without you though."

"I could visit more, but then I'd have to pay your dad rent."

"I probably shouldn't get too used to sleeping in the same bed as you again anyway," he said with a put-upon sigh. "I won't have you again once school starts."

"It'll be a reason to come visit me on the weekends," Derek replied, leaning over to kiss him.

"I guess," he said with a pout. "Still sucks though."

"And it'll keep you from getting bored of me."

"Oh yeah like that'll happen."

"Years from now when we're old and boring maybe?" Derek joked.

Stiles kissed Derek's chest. "Not even then."

Derek snorted, wiping Stiles' cheek to clean him up just a little bit. "You sounds pretty confident about that."

"The ring means together forever," he said, lifting up his hand. "No take backs."

"Not going to take anything back," Derek promised. "You're stuck with me and I'm stuck with you."
