Stiles really shouldn't have bought his ticket to Beacon Hills on the same day he attempted to look for scholarships whose deadlines hadn't passed since the nogitsune thing. It hurt his wallet. Ugh.

But it was for a good cause. Malia needed his help (not that she'd likely admit it) and it was a small price to pay when he compared it to letting the nogitsune back in his head to save her. He understood why Scott wouldn't be up to the task considering Allison hadn't died all that long ago.

He still hadn't packed his overnight bag 'cause he wasn't leaving until tomorrow and was instead downstairs rifling though the freezer for popsicles or ice cream or something frozen. It was hot as shit outside.
