Random Parking Lot and the Sheriff's Station | Late Morning

Isaac
After a long shower and a change of clothes, Isaac went with Allison on the search for Lydia. The sheriff had said they found Lydia's car abandoned somewhere and gave them the tip first so they could investigate before the actual police showed up.

Allison
They approached the locked gate to the currently empty parking lot. Empty except for one practically new Toyota that is.

"That's it, that's her car."

Isaac
Isaac broke the lock to the gate and pushed it open. He approached the car, trying to get an idea of what happened here. Visibly there wasn't much to see but he could smell a whole lot.

"The scent's strong with emotion."

Allison
"Fear?" she guessed.

Isaac
"No, anger," Isaac said, getting down on all fours to check under the car.

Allison
Allison smiled slightly, remembering who they were talking about. "Sounds like Lydia."

She circled the car, trying to find clues rather than bring up the subject she wanted to talk about now that she was alone with Isaac.

"I just--just out of curiosity, do you remember the other night?" Oops.

Isaac
"You mean the night before last night?" he asked, getting up off the ground.

Allison
"That night before you weren't you?" Oh god this was so awkward, why did she bring this up?

Isaac
Isaac opened the car door, which was luckily unlocked. "Yeah, I remember."

He had no idea where this conversation was going.

Allison
Allison followed him into the car, sitting in the driver's seat. "So that night were you you or were you not you?"

Isaac
"You mean the night when we were us?" Ohhhhhhh he was getting it now. The sex thing. Yes. He understood.

Allison
"Yeah. I just want to know if it was actually you," she said awkwardly. "With me."

Isaac
"Did--did you want it to be someone else?" Oh god it was Scott, wasn't it? She wanted it to be Scott.

Allison
"No! Nooo," she said, laughing a little out of relief. "Of course not."

Isaac
"Good. Because it was me," he said. "And I do remember it. I really remember."

It had been...nice. The sex part had been great, obviously, but he so rarely got to do that with somebody he had history with. He hadn't known Allison for long but they had been through a lot together. It was something he wouldn't mind repeating.

Allison
Allison gave him a smile, beyond relieved to hear that.

Then she turned her attention to the window. Lydia was a remarkably clean person so to see smudges on the window...Allison blew hot air on it, using a trick she and Scott used to use when they had been dating.

The words DON'T FIND ME appeared.

Allison whipped around to look at Isaac in shock.

Sheriff Stilinski
Sheriff Stilinski had spent all evening in his office, trying to work but mostly worrying. It took hours before Parrish succeeded in trying to convince him to go home and get some sleep.

Now if only he could find his keys...

Stiles
"The keys are in your coffee cup," Stiles said. "You always drop them in your coffee cup."

Sheriff Stilinski
Sheriff Stilinski turned, giving Stiles a hopeful look. Then he looked over at Derek to confirm this was the real thing.

Derek
Derek nodded, looking from the sheriff to Stiles like he could fix all this with the force of his gaze. Which would be nice.

Impossible, but nice.

Sheriff Stilinski
That was enough for him, he went up and hugged the hell out of him.

Stiles
Stiles winced because that really did hurt considering how much pain he was already in, but he didn't let go. "Hey, Dad."

Derek
Derek awkwardly hung out where he was at that, hands firmly at his sides since Stiles didn't want him to touch him.

Which was rude.

Sheriff Stilinski
"We've got an APB out on Lydia's car every available unit is looking for her," the sheriff said, letting Stiles go. "There's nothing else we can do at this hour."

Stiles
"He took her for a reason, Dad," Stiles said. "If we can figure out the why then we can figure out the where."

Derek
"An alarm?" Derek suggested. Since they screamed at deaths...

Stiles
You were half-right, Derek. And yet Stiles didn't believe your logic.

"Against what? He doesn't seem to be afraid of anything," Stiles said. "Lydia's pretty good at finding dead bodies. Maybe he needs to find a body?"

Sheriff Stilinski
"Scott, you know more about this than anyone." Yeah, he said that.

Scott
Scott lifted his eyebrows. "Me?"

Sheriff Stilinski
"You said you got the whole story from Noshiko," Sheriff Stilinski said.

Scott
Scott shook his head. "Yeah but that happened during World War II, like 70 years ago."

Stiles
Stiles lifted up his hand. "Wait, what did you say?"

Scott
"When Noshiko told me about the internment camp--"

Stiles
"No, before that. You said the whole story...there's a girl at Eichen House," Stiles said, remembering the creepy moment by the pay phones there. "Her name's Meredith, I think she might be able to help."

And, no, Derek that wasn't the girl the nogitsune had been teasing you about.

Sheriff Stilinski
Sheriff Stilinski was already moving. "I'll get Parrish to track her down."

Derek
And Derek was just standing there, wondering what the hell just happened there because he hadn't a freakin' clue where these jumps came from.

You keep being awkward and useless there, Derek.

"Then what?"

Stiles
"Then we...we find Lydia," Stiles said. From across the room. "And then...I don't know."

"Look, finding Lydia is the priority." The fact he was slowly looking like death was secondary.

Deputy Parrish
It was just a quick phone call so Deputy Parrish was back in record time. "Sheriff, her name's Meredith Walker. She's still at Eichen House but they moved her to a closed unit."

Stiles
"Why?" Stiles asked.

Deputy Parrish
"They said she had behavioral issues," Parrish said. "She wouldn't stop screaming."
