Stiles was a moron, yes he was. He didn't need a game of I Never to make him do dumb things. All he needed, apparently, was Jim Kirk and his stupid face insinuating disparaging things about Stiles' masculinity and pain tolerance. He certainly wouldn't have gone into town and gotten a truly tacky and cliche tattoo on his hip if someone hadn't made it into a challenge.

Oh god he was so stupid, why couldn't he learn to shut his stupid mouth? At least he hadn't cried while getting the tattoo even though it hurt like a bitch. The wolf was covered up by a bandage and his shirt at the moment but he could feel it throbbing every time he moved.

"My dad's gonna kill me. And he'd be right to." God, he was so friggen dumb.

At least he hadn't gone for the tramp stamp.

Stiles ignored that reference to his mother and instead threw back his head with a dramatic groan of frustration. "A wolf. It's a really...cheesy looking wolf."

Cade snorted. "Sorry."

He wasn't, really.

"Shut up!" He knew it was bad, okay? Hence the crisis. "At least nobody ever sees me with my shirt off."

"I think you can get 'em removed if it's really that bad," Cade said, "but lots of girls think they're hot."

"That was Jim's logic," Stiles said. "You and Jim would have the same logic."

"You say that like it's a bad thing," Cade replied.

"Your logic is why I currently have a wolf howling at the moon tattooed on my hip," Stiles said. "My dad is gonna kill me."

"You planning on showing your dad your hip?" Cade asked.

"No, of course not," he said. "But he's a cop and I have the worst luck on earth. Those two elements combined means he's going to find out."

Cade winced sympathetically. "Can you come up with a good story about why you got it? Joined a biker gang, lost a bet?"

"How are either of those things good stories?" he asked.

Cade shrugged. "I don't know, but then I like tattoos, so I don't see the point of freaking out about them."

"Yeah, well, you look like you were born with tattoos," Stiles said. "...you weren't, were you?"

"Nah," Cade said. "I got my first one when I was 14."

"So only a slightly illegal age," he said. "Unless in the future that sort of stuff doesn't matter."
